View the Examples Open and save each of the BookLog examples. You will need to open Excel and then open the examples you just saved.
Try out a few of the features of the BookLogs. Think about what you might add to your BookLog.
Determine BookLog Purpose It is important that you have a reason for having a bookLog. What do you want to accomplish by using a BookLog with your students?
Define the Content Think about the data you want to collect. Decide the data that will best provide you with the information you will need to see how a student
is improving on their daily reading.

Start Your BookLog 1. Open Excel
2. Save your blank page in a new folder. Name the folder “booklog” Name the page “booklog” 3. Now you are ready to start your log.
