WWW Searching

The World Wide Web is a vast resource that brings the world outside to the walls inside the classroom. With a click of the mouse a teacher can show students amazing things about the world around them. Because the WWW is so large and growing daily the challenge is finding sites within a short amount of time that support the learning in the classroom.

Overview
This tutorial will show you how to find sites that will provide resources for learning right in the classroom. Also you will learn how to select quality sites and what you might do with sites once you have find them.

      Keeping Track of Web Sites
    To keep track of web sites you find, I suggest you use WORD. 
    1. Open WORD
    2. Save the WORD file as WWW Resource Sites
    3. In our WORD document create a list of content areas you would like to find web sites for.
    4. Use this list to help guide your searching

To develop a resource list of sites that can be used to support learning in your classroom.
