Create Your Vision

Technology is a powerful tool that can maximize our students potential to learn. In a technology integrated classroom students are faced with the challenge to use technology to explore the world and to improve their learning.

Successfully integrated technology in today's classroom environment gives learners the experiences needed to be successful in the work force of tomorrow. Technology helps learners who are bombarded daily with information and images to sort and analyze the information in meaningful and powerful ways. Technology is the bridge that connects our learners to the global world.

It should be the goal of every teacher to create multiple opportunities for students to use technology to develop skills, which will prepare them for the complex and varied future and develop sklls for becoming successful life long learners.

Think about:
Why is important for my students to use technology?
What is the benfit today for my students using technology?
How will using techonology today help my students in the future?

From those think about questions. Develop a vision statement for your classroom.

My students are: Problem Solvers, Decision Makers, Communicators, Information Gatherers, Global Connectors, Collaborators, and Flexible and Integrative Workers.
