Building Bridges to Other Classrooms Building Bridges (.ppt)
In today's world it is important for our
students to learn about other communities and cultures that exist beyond the classroom walls. By creating projects that bridge classrooms together we are working towards building a more global world.
This session will show teachers how to locate, find and build projects that will enable you to connect your classroom to the world. Examples of projects and steps needed for successful project completion
will be provided. Attendees in this session will create a project for their classrooms to participate in before the end of the school year.
Reflection on Learning Using eFolios With the ability to collect
learning artifacts in an electronic environment many teachers and districts are looking for way to collect electronic samples of student work. Based on 3 years of work this session will show you how to
create opportunities for students to reflect on their learning and set goals to improve learning using an eFolio. Product and process eFolios will be shared and discussed. Actual student eFolios will be
presented, as well as ways to manage the use of them during the school year.
